Her name is Ellen Sosnsoki, and here is a little bit about her....

Hi Everyone! I am Ellen Sosnsoki. I live in a small town in Northeast Pennsylvania called Paxinos with my family. I have two boys, a husband and two dogs with whom I share my days and nights. Besides scrapping and hanging out with my family & friends, I am utilizing my Master’s Degree and working PT as a mobile therapist for children with behavioral issues and a PT as an instructor at a local business college. I draw inspiration from color and texture and life around me. When I have a stressful day at work, I love to come home and create!

New years 08-09

Using the September kit at www.crazydaisykits.com I made a layout about the very low key New Years that I spent with ds. I loved the owl that was on the cute little card included in the kit, so I cut the owl out to use it on the layout. I stapled each wing(just for looks) and adhered to my page using a pop dot.

genius batman

I just finished working with the September kit from www.crazydaisykits.com and it was pretty cool to work with..I especially LOVE the included mini album(I am not done this one yet as it will be a work in progress while ds is in Grade one) but I did complete 8 layouts.
This one is titled "genius batman" and my goal with this layout was to use up alot of the extra patterned paper scraps leftover from the kit, so I created a lot of layering.

Where do you live?

(I forgot to post this yesterday)
But my first challenge to work on for September as the GDT at Scrap Tiffany was to scrap about my home.
It's so easy to forget to document these small details, but what a great memory to pass down from generation to generation.
I used glimmer mist, my Stamp BOX stamps, and had a LOT of fun with this page.

Have fun!!!!! For my layout titled "no longer a family of three" I wanted to add some brief journaling about what it feels like to see pictures of the 3 of us together, knowing that it wont happen again...I find scrapbooking to be very theuraputic, so I tend to also scrap a lot of very personal and tough subjects.
I used 3 alpha stamp sets:
Letterboxes
Splash me a little!
lots of dots

I love the look of mixing up my alpha sets, because it's a more affordable and versatile alternative to using letter stickers on every layout.

Layout titled "road trip"
I mixed the same 3 alpha stamp sets again, but this time I stamped the word 'trip' onto white paper, trimmed each letter out, and adhered onto the patterned paper.

p.s. Is that not the yummiest Prima flower you have ever seen? I love the beadwork on it.
