YAY!! I was asked to be a part of the design team over at Crazy Daisy Kit Co.
I am thrilled to work alongside some amazing talent. My fellow dt'ers are JJ Sobey, Grace Tolman, Kim Whitten and Jackie Laing.
Starting june, you will see our designs on their blog(and here of course)
head over to www.crazydaisykits.com/blog/

"from our home to yours"

This is the second card I made using the may kit from www.scrapbookkitclub.com
I layered the chipboard house and flourish, and applied the heart rubon to the window of the chipboard house.
I love the little clouds on the Fancy Pants ribbon, so I hand cut 3 of them, to use as the sky background.
I also went with "215" over the door because that is my house number
Thanks for looking!!!
Don't forget to check back tomorrow to see project #3 using the May kit.
Hurry and head to the store to grab your kit, before they sell out..and remember...anyone who buys a kit before the end of the month will be eligible to win a RAK from me.

Hello

I received the may kit from www.scrapbookkitclub.com on Thursday, so I spent a lot of time this weekend working on it. By the time I was done this afternoon, I had completed 9 layouts and 2 cards.
So to fill in the time until the June kit is released, I am going to post a project on my blog for the next 11 days(and hopefully this will make you really love the kit, and head over to the online shop to pick one up for yourself)
Card #1 "Hello"
I applied the rubon onto a piece of white paper, trimmed the bird out and adhered to the cardstock, using a pop dot.
Have I ever mentioned how much I love Helmar adhesive? I won some from my friend Marci awhile back, and Im hooked..this is the only adhesive I have used that really adheres EVERYTHING!!! I used it for the trim, and buttons on this card.
See you tomorrow!!!!

Mothers day Project

I saw something similar, and thought what a great idea for a gift.
I made one for my )step) mom, Robs sister in law, and for Si' teacher and EA in the class(Dont tell them though, because they only get theirs at the end of the school year)
Each project took about 20 minutes to make.

better late then never..right??

Well I know I am a few days late to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day, but its the thought that counts right??
It was nice to be able to spend the day with the most important women in my life..My (step) Mom and my Grandma(and of course the guys too)
We had a rib dinner at My Dads, and then the 3 of us went to the cemetery where Rob's mom is buried, and then to the cemetery where my Mom is buried.
Even as an adult, i find it difficult not having my Mom in my life, but at least I am fortunate to have other fabulous women as a great example to me.
I was spoiled as well that morning, with a breadmaker, The Hills season 4 dvd, and some awesome homemade things that Si made for me..The best part was that Rob cleaned the kitchen for me, and Si made sure he cooked lunch for me too;
I hope all you terrific women out there had an equally terrific Mothers Day too.

( oh no..sorry Yvonne..that your pic ended up sideways)

Pebbles Loven'

Imagine my delight when I heard that Pebbles Inc is accepting applications for their design team.
I absolutely heart Pebbles Inc..especially their patterned paper and chalk.
Can you imagine how amazing it would be to work with their products all the time;
Here are 2 layouts and 1 card I made this week, for the call.
Wish me luck;;
